Comprehensive Eye Exams
At Valo Eye Care, we provide thorough eye exam to assess the health of your eyes and detect any vision problems. Our eye doctor use state-of-the-art equipment to provide accurate and reliable results.
-

Contact Lens Fitting
Contact lens fittings ensure comfort and optimal vision. An eye care professional measures your cornea using specialized tools to select the right lens type and curvature. They assess eye moisture and tear quality to recommend suitable lens materials based on your lifestyle, prescription, and eye health. After placing the lenses, they check fit, movement, and vision clarity. Patients learn lens care and handling to prevent issues. Proper fittings provide a safe, comfortable, and personalized vision solution.

Retinal Imaging
The retinal camera enables the examination of the retina without dilation, offering a broad view of its internal features. This device easily produces a lasting record of the retina without causing any side effects, facilitating the evaluation of eye health and the early identification of diseases.
-

Dry Eye Treatments
We offer comprehensive dry eye treatments tailored to each patient's unique needs. From advanced prescription eye drops to punctual plugs and innovative amniotic membranes, we offer a full range of solutions designed to provide lasting relief and restore comfort.
-

Diabetic Eye Exams
Diabetic eye exams are vital for people with diabetes to monitor eye health. Diabetes can damage retinal blood vessels, causing diabetic retinopathy, which may lead to vision loss if untreated. These exams use advanced technology, including dilated exams and imaging like OCT, to detect early retinal damage. Since early eye disease often shows no symptoms, regular exams—typically yearly—are crucial for timely detection and treatment to prevent vision loss.
-

Macular Degeneration
At Valo Eye Care we use scans and vision tests to find and monitor macular degeneration early. A dilated exam lets us see the macula. OCT gives detailed retina images to spot fluid, drusen, or thinning. Fundus photos document the macula over time. If needed, fluorescein or OCT angiography checks for abnormal blood vessels. We also use the Amsler grid and best‑corrected visual acuity to detect subtle central vision loss. From these findings we set follow‑ups, suggest lifestyle or diet changes, and arrange treatments like anti‑VEGF injections to help preserve vision.
-

Glaucoma
At Valo Eye Care, we diagnose glaucoma with a full eye exam: eye pressure check (tonometry), slit‑lamp and dilated exam of the optic nerve, OCT imaging to measure nerve fiber thickness, and visual field testing. If glaucoma or suspected glaucoma is found, we make a personalized plan that may include eye drops to lower pressure, laser treatment (like selective laser trabeculoplasty), or surgery for advanced cases, plus regular imaging and visual field tests to monitor and adjust treatment to protect vision.
-

Pediatric Eye Care
We provide specialized eye care for children of all ages, from infants to teenagers. Our optometrists are experienced in diagnosing and treating vision problems that can affect a child's development and learning.
-

Treatment & Management of Eye Conditions

-

Refractive & Cataract Surgery Management
Managing post-operative care following eye surgery is crucial for ensuring optimal recovery and preserving vision health. Our experienced team provides thorough follow-up services that include monitoring healing progress, managing any discomfort, and addressing potential complications promptly. We use advanced technology to check the surgery area and help patients with treatments like medicine changes or extra care. Clear communication and personalized plans help patients understand their recovery, follow care instructions, and get the best results after surgery.
-

Emergency Eye Care
Eye emergencies need quick care to avoid lasting damage or vision loss. Signs include sudden vision changes, severe eye pain, new double vision, injury, chemical exposure, sudden flashes of light, many floaters, or sudden vision loss.
If you think you have an eye emergency, go to the nearest emergency room or contact your eye doctor immediately.

Myopia Management
At Valo Eye Care we slow myopia with personalized, proven methods to protect long-term vision. After a full exam and risk check, we offer specialty contact lenses (peripheral-defocus soft lenses), low‑dose atropine when suitable, and glasses with myopia‑control lenses. Plans include regular checks with advanced imaging and axial length measurements, education on lifestyle changes (more outdoor time, less near work), and ongoing treatment adjustments based on each child’s response.
